Ferrite Toroidal Common Mode Inductor
Generally, the crystal grains are larger and the structure is relatively compact. It has the characteristics of high magnetic permeability and high magnetic flux density, and has the characteristics of low loss when the frequency is lower than 1MHz. The permeability of manganese-zinc ferrite is in the thousands to tens of thousands. The higher the permeability of ferrite, the greater the impedance at low frequencies and the smaller the impedance at high frequencies. Therefore, manganese-zinc ferrite is used when suppressing low-frequency interference. When suppressing high-frequency interference, nickel-zinc ferrite should be selected;
(1) When suppressing high-frequency interference, nickel-zinc ferrite should be selected; when the frequency is 1MHZ-300MHZ, the resistance of nickel-zinc ferrite is very large.
(2) When suppressing low-frequency interference, manganese-zinc ferrite should be used; the frequency is 1KHZ-10MHZ, and the z value is below 150kΩ.
(3) The initial permeability μ of the nickel-zinc ferrite material is about 10-2500 lower, and the frequency of use is from five hundred kilohertz to several hundred megahertz. With high resistivity, high Curie temperature. The initial permeability μ of manganese-zinc ferrite MXO material is about 2000-10000, and the frequency of use is from tens of Hz to hundreds of kHz. Used when the upper limit frequency f1 is lower than 500kHz-1MHz. Above this frequency, NiZn (nickel zinc) material must be used.
