Electronic Components What are their functions?
As an embedded system, I don't know how to master circuits, but at least we should understand circuits and their functions. Here's a summary of the functions of some electronic components, hoping it will be helpful.
1. Resistor: Resistors are mainly used to adjust and stabilize the current and voltage in a circuit. They can be used as shunt and voltage dividers, and also as a load matching the circuit. Depending on circuit requirements, they can also be used for negative or positive feedback during amplifier circuit input overload, voltage-current conversion, voltage or current protection components, and can also form RC circuits such as oscillation, filtering, bypass, differential, integral, and time constant components.

2. Capacitor: Generally used for filtering. The smaller the capacitor, the higher the filtering frequency. Usually 103104 capacitors are used. 104 capacitors are used in the projects I've done. In the Xintang chip, manual jitter elimination is not needed. The effect is very good.
3. Transistor: This is a commonly used component. In digital circuits, it usually uses a switching function. The on and off characteristics of the transistor are used to switch circuits. The digital tube used in the author's project uses a transistor to control the on and off of the digital tube. If the I/O port of the chip is directly used to output high and low to control the digital tube, then when the output is low, the current will be very large, and the chip will burn out after a long time.
With the development of electronic technology, the feedback, monitoring, and protection measures for the operating status of the circuit have become quite mature and are widely used in household appliances, industrial automation control, and microcomputer technology. For example, automatic cooling, defrosting, and shutdown during air conditioning operation; interrupts and searches during computer operation; automatic adjustment of TV screen brightness; and timing control widely used in industrial production. Taking the power supply in a color TV as an example, it is generally equipped with overcurrent, overvoltage, and overheat protection. When the power consumed by the circuit is too high, the voltage is too high, or the equipment temperature is too high, the power supply is automatically cut off or the equipment is switched to half-voltage operation, which can effectively prevent accidents from occurring or expanding, thereby protecting key equipment and valuable equipment. In electronic technology, various physical quantity converters are used. For example, microphones are used to convert sound signals into audio electrical signals, picture tubes are used to convert image electrical signals into light signals, humidity signals are used by humidity sensors to convert into humidity electrical signals, and mechanical pressure is used by pressure sensors to convert into pressure electrical signals. These devices specifically used for conversion between different physical quantities have formed a considerable series, usually called sensors.
The display of physical quantities can also be understood as the conversion of physical quantities. For example, LEDs are used to display the presence or absence of an electrical signal or the operating status of a circuit, digital tubes are used to display numbers, LCD screens or plasma screens are used to display television images, oscilloscopes are used to display the waveform of telecommunication signals, and sound devices are used to produce sound. At present, electronic measuring instruments have been widely used in industrial and agricultural production and people's daily lives, and may replace traditional pointer-type measuring instruments. For example, digital multimeters, digital electricity meters, digital thermometers, digital flow meters, electronic scales, etc. These digital metering (measuring) instruments have the advantages of high precision, small size, easy use, and remote metering. The key structure inside them is a measuring circuit composed of electronic components. The above briefly introduces the ten functions of electronic components in the circuit. The purpose is to select electronic components according to their specific functions in the circuit to determine which series, model, or specification to choose.
